Ms. Lisette Naranjo
I have been a teacher for 34 years. My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Special Education with a specialization in Learning Disabilities and a Master of Science Degree in Diagnostic Teaching. Since then, I have completed an additional thirty-six graduate credit hours in Hearing Impaired Education. I am currently certified in Specific Learning Disabilities Grades K-12, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Grades K-12, Prekindergarten/Primary Education- Age 3 through Grade 3 and hold an Endorsement in Reading.
St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and School have been a part of my life for almost 50 years. I am an alumnus, Class of 1980 and my children are alumni as well, class of 2010. During their years as St. Michael’s, I was Vice President and Treasurer of the Home and School Association. I have been a CCD teacher for the parish and my late husband, and I ran St. Michael’s Boy Scout Pack and Troop 92. It is a blessing to now be able to be a part of the school as an educator. I am a believer in the value of a true Catholic education. It provides not only a beautiful foundation for our faith and moral values, but also gives each child a sense of community and acceptance that cannot be found in secular schools
